BIO

Liora Redman (b. 1986 Zelenokumsk, Russia) is a Miami-based artist who spent her early childhood in the peaceful solitude of rural Kazakhstan. That landscape, which Redman recalls as marked by silence and stretches of uninterrupted sky, still informs her work today, which examines and confronts the origins of her thoughts and inner dialogues. Redman’s practice was born from the impulse to create refuge from the constraints of the collective subconscious and continues to push both implicit and explicit cultural boundaries. In 2010, Redman emigrated from Russia to New York City to immerse herself in the diverse cultural milieu, and in 2015, relocated to Miami, where she currently lives and works.

Redman’s work has been showcased in international exhibitions including a solo show at G Gallery Art (Miami, 2022) and group exhibitions at BlackTower Gallery (Miami, 2022), the Cultural Center in Greece (2024), and Las Laguna Art Gallery (Laguna Beach, 2024). Her work was also featured on the cover of Art Muse
magazine (Moscow, 2023), and has been presented in group shows such as Mixtape (Artsy, 2024).

Redman’s practice combines the emotional intensity of expressionism with the clean, structured forms of minimalism. Her vibrant paintings and installations create provocative personal narratives, which explore the connection among thought, identity, and the language of the body.
